Tiger Supplies’ exclusive range of Weatherwear includes Wet Weather Suits to protect the wearer from harsh weather conditions. Our rain suits will ensure you feel comfortable and protected from the elements.

Tiger Supplies’ waterproof wet weather suits are efficient and cost-effective as they are made of high-tech fabric, including Flexothane and Sealtex.

Flexothane is a revolutionary coating on knitted fabric.  As a result, Flexothane is waterproof and windproof. It also has double-welded seams for extra strength and tear resistance.

Sealtex is a high-tech coating on polyester knitted fabric. Sealtex garments are strong, durable, and feature welded seams to offer protection from the elements. Cleaning this type of fabric is easy.

We offer one-piece suits and two-piece suits (a waterproof jacket with a waterproof pair of trousers).

International Standards

The EN 343 standard specifies the main requirements for weatherproof clothing. Rain suits are classified according to their water penetration resistance and breathability. Rain Suits are rated from 1 (lowest level) to 3 (highest level) for each category.

Class 3 garments offer the highest level of protection against rain, fog, and humidity. Class 3:3 clothing is highly waterproof and also offers the highest level of breathability.

The EN 14605 standard determines the main requirements for protective clothing against liquid chemicals. Type 3 and Type 4 garments classified according to this standard offer the best protection. Type 3 items are liquid-tight and Type 4 items are splash-tight.

EN ISO 20471 specifies the main requirements for high visibility clothing. It classifies garments according to the levels of visibility they provide. Class 1 garments offer the lowest level of visibility. Class 3 clothing offers the highest level of visibility in poor lighting conditions.

Our rain suits have additional features that will simplify your workday. Read carefully the product description to choose the type of wet weather suit that best suits your needs. Here are some of the features:

  • Elasticated waist
  • Taped seams
  • Concealed hood
  • High-frequency welded seams

Recommendations

Here are some recommendations to care for your wet weather suit:

  • If the product comes with any washing instructions, follow them.
  • It is advisable to brush off any loose mud before washing the rain suit.
  • Avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners to clean rain suits. Doing this may damage the waterproof coating of the fabric.
  • Allow the rain suit to air dry. Tumble dry the suit only if the care instructions allow it.
  • In the case of hi-vis rain suits, remember that excessive laundering can cause the reflective tape to wear out.

Another recommendation is to choose the right size. Selecting a rain suit that is too big or too small will affect your movement while performing work tasks, walking or cycling. If you choose a hi-vis rain suit that is too small, it may affect the visibility of the garment and it may not fulfil its purpose.

At Tiger Supplies, we are proud to offer a wide range of Weatherwear, including Wet Weather Trousers and Wet Weather Jackets.
