Foundry & Welding Footwear

Our superb range of Protective Footwear includes Foundry and Welding Footwear. These boots will protect you from the harshest tasks. Our Welding Footwear has been designed to protect your feet from hot debris whilst providing comfort.

International Standards

EN Standard: Our boots are EN ISO 20345-certified, which means that they meet the main requirements for general-purpose safety footwear. Our boots have been tested to ensure that they meet the requirements related to ergonomic behaviour, slip resistance, and thermal and mechanical risks.

Features

Toe Protection: Our boots come with either steel or composite toe caps.

Midsole Protection: Many of our safety footwear models have either a composite or steel midsole for protection.

Heat Resistance: This feature is useful in industrial settings. Foundry and welding footwear have heat-resistant soles. The Goliath Blast King Long Leg Foundry Boots have flame-resistant dual density rubber injected soles that are heat resistant up to 300°C.

Slip Resistance: Many of our boots are slip resistant to prevent slip and fall accidents. You can wear these shoes in work environments where water or oil spills occur frequently. These designs often have an SRC slip resistance rating. SRC indicates that their slip resistance feature has been tested under the following conditions:

  • On a ceramic tile wetted with a dilute soap solution
  • On a Steel plate that has been saturated with Glycerol.

Anti Static Sole: The boots in our selection have been designed to minimise static electricity and prevent electric shocks. Anti-static soles reduce the effects of static charge build-up.

When should you replace your boots?

You can expect your boots to last for many years if you take care of them properly. You can typically expect them to last about 12 months when you use them daily.

Footwear degradation is caused by the following factors:

  • Extreme temperatures
  • Accidents
  • No maintenance or cleaning routines
  • Misuse (using your boots to kick or move objects)

Signs that your boots need replacing

  • Soles that are damaged, worn down or peeling off.
  • Warped insoles
  • Your feet get wet easily indicating there are cracks or holes in your boots
  • Treads on the bottom of your boots are damaged

How to maintain your boots?

Take good care of your boots to ensure they last for a long time. Here are some recommendations:

  • Do not use harsh chemicals to clean them
  • Let them dry naturally
  • Only wear your boots once they are completely dry
  • Store them in a cool place

How to clean your safety boots?

Clean your boots properly so they can protect you. Take into consideration the upper materials. Always remove all significant chunks of dirt before applying any cleaning products.

To keep your working site clean and safe, we recommend the Invicta Boot Washer Station, which has an innovative design with a Plumbing Waste System to pump and remove internal wastewater.
